When you walk through the 1871 schoolhouse and listen to the stories told by the many memorabilia and the music of Emīls Dārziņš, try to solve three puzzles, that is, unlock the mysteries of the artist's life, death and art. The Oliveretto Path, which twists around the museum, also leads into the world of poet Jānis Sudrabkalns (1894-1975). He spent his childhood in the nearby Zeltakrogs and studied at Jāņaskola. To the poet, Piebalga forever remained the bright island of sweet childhood memories.
